Flores Island

Flores Island is located in Indonesia, specifically within the Lesser Sunda Islands. It’s the largest island in East Nusa Tenggara. Additionally, there’s another Flores Island, this one belonging to the Azores in the Western Group (Grupo Ocidental), nicknamed ‘The Yellow Island’. These islands, while sharing a name, are geographically distinct and part of different countries. The Indonesian Flores is part of the world’s largest archipelago.
